He has not signed any deal, fake news – Messi’s father debunks rumours Saudi move

Lionel Messi’s father, Jorge Messi has broken his silence over viral reports that the PSG star’s move to Saudi outfit, Al-Hilal is a “done deal”.

Reports claimed Messi had agreed to sign a contract worth £522 million with the Saudi Pro League side.

But reacting in a statement on Tuesday, Jorge described the report as “fake news”.
He said the 35-year-old hasn’t agreed on any deal with any club, adding that Messi’s next move would be decided at the end of the season.

He said, “There’s absolutely nothing agreed with any club for next season. We will decide at the end of the season.

“Nothing is signed, agreed or verbally agreed. Only fake news using Leo’s name”.
