He doesn’t belong to my staff – Pochettino speaks on exit of first-team coach

Chelsea manager, Mauricio Pochettino, has addressed the exit of first-team coach, Bruno Saltor.

Saltor arrived at Stamford Bridge as part of Graham Potter’s coaching staff.

He acted as Chelsea’s caretaker boss when Potter was sacked after just 31 matches in charge.

Saltor has now left the Blues after he reached a mutual agreement with the Premier League club to terminate the remaining two years of his contract.

Pochettino said of the Spaniard’s departure: “It was a decision between the club and Bruno.

“He didn’t belong to my coaching staff and then it’s the best decision for him and for the club.”
