New Manchester City signing, Josko Gvardiol has revealed that he spoke with the Cityzens midfielder, Mateo Kovacic before joining the Premier League champions.
Gvardiol officially joined Manchester City from Bundesliga side, RB Leipzig on a five-year deal on Saturday.
Speaking at his first interview with Man City on Saturday, the 21-year-old Croatian said “Everyone knows about this club, and everyone wants to be part of this club.
“So, once you have an opportunity, I believe that everyone is going to take it, so yeah, it was my decision.
“But also, a week ago, I spoke with Kova [Mateo Kovacic] about the team and everything, and he said that he really likes it and that for sure we are going to enjoy it here.
“As a person, Mateo is a really, really nice guy and he is always here to help you.
“On the pitch, he is a fantastic player with amazing control.”
