Guardiola: Arsenal know why Walker, Haaland fought with their coach

Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has claimed that Arsenal “know” why two of his players fought with their set-piece coach, Nicolas Jover after a 1-0 defeat on Sunday.

City defender, Kyle Walker clashed with Jover as he walked towards the tunnel, while his team-mate Erling Haaland also joined the melee.

The incident happened after the champions suffered back-to-back Premier League defeats for the first time in five years.

Gabriel Martinelli’s 86th minute shot which deflected off Nathan Aké’s face proved to be the winner.

After the game, Jover appeared to offer his hand to Walker, who refused to shake it before walking on.

However, the City defender then turned back to confront Jover before being pulled away by Haaland.

“I know what happened, but I don’t want to say anything,” Guardiola said.

“They [Arsenal] know it.”
