GPMI pass confidence vote in Bawa EFCC boss

Global Peace Movement International, UK has passed a vote of confidence on the chairman of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC), Abdulrasheed Bawa.

President General of the group, Dr. Mike Uyi presenting him the ‘Touch-Light of Unity in London on Monday said that the EFCC chairman is a great man God has chosen to help Nigeria recover all it’s looted money and other assets.

Describing him as a new dawn in the anti-graft agency, Uyi said the Global Peace Movement International is ready and willing to work with the EFCC chairman to uncover people who are steadily looting the country dry.

“As an anti corruption crusader, we are ready to support the commission fight all manner of lotting that has dragged the country down”.

“As major stakeholders in the Nigerian Project, we declare full support for the EFCC chairman not only on the basis of his youthfulness but also for his rich qualifications, qualitative and loaded profile, brilliant CV and rare insights into the workings of the EFCC as one of its pioneer cadets at inception”.

While assuring Bawa of the group’s support, he said, “the fight against corruption is not just for Bawa alone, it is for each and every one of us and we believe that this fight is to secure a positive future for our dear country”.
