GPMI hails Nigerian Army over defeat of Boko haram, banditry

Global Peace Movement International, UK , has commended the Nigerian Army for the tremendous successes it has recorded in the renowned efforts to end activities of ISWAP/BokoHaram, banditry and other criminality in Nigeria in the last few weeks.

President General of the group, Dr. Mike Uyi sent the commendation in a press release on Tuesday in Benin, Edo state.

It could be recalled that President Muhammadu Buhari’s directives to the Nigerian military to “show no mercy “, the Army has deployed more might against enemies of the country.

Uyi stated that within this period, many bandits’ camps in the forests in the lake Chad, Kaduna, Zamfara Niger, Yobe and Borno states have fallen to the Nigerian Army’s superior power.

Uyi while commending the troops of the Nigerian Army for the tremendous achievement recorded in the last few weeks against the insurgents, thanked the Chief of Army Staff, Lt.Gen. Faruk Yahaya for his strategic guidance and purposeful, transparent leadership.
