GPMI condemns call for sack of service chiefs

Global Peace Movement International, UK, has urged Nigerians to desist from calling for the replacement of service chiefs.

According to the President General of the group, Dr. Mike Uyi, “Calling for the sack of service chiefs is unpatriotic and uncalled for.”

In a press statement signed on Monday, Uyi noted that security agents are one out of us, they are not gods, they need the information to work with, they need our support, they need our people.”

He noted that, with the information and cooperation of the populace, the insurgency will end in no time.

“GPMI has no doubt in our security system and apparatuses, we are not in doubt of the Nigeria security agents being able to end insurgency; we have absolute trust and confidence in them”.

Uyi also call on the Federal Government to name the sponsors of terrorism and banditry in Nigeria.

According to him, it had become imperative that sponsors of insecurity in Nigeria must be specifically identified; adding that their motives involved destabilising the country.

He said, “Insecurity has set Nigeria on the reverse gear. Our Nation has suffered untold hardships and setbacks. Bandits and other terrorist organizations have had a field day. Causing havoc to all citizens of this country either directly or indirectly, especially our military men”.

“The Sacrifice of the Nigerian Army is unprecedented and they have families and loved ones”.

“Our new moves is to ensure that all Nigerians are participants in this once and for all battle for the Nigerian Army”.

“Global Peace Movement International haven’t completed the Mission of her International Tour of Nations with the MANTRA ” TALK TO OUR PEOPLE BACK HOME ” and is set to replicate same in Nigeria by September 2022″.

“We will no longer tolerate the conspiray of the citizens against our Soldiers and police officers killed Daily due to inactive altitude of our Citizens. The Sacrifice can not be one sided. Our Soldiers has rights to live , our Policemen and woman also. GPM commend the Chief of Army Staff, Lt.Gen. Faruk Yahaya for his total dedication to duties.

“We therefore, advising the government to go after the sponsors of insecurity. We are aware there are people sponsoring terrorism. It’s not enough to buy Super Tucanos and gadgets while leaving the sponsors. It won’t address any security problems”
