GPMI commends Air Peace CEO, Allen Onyema for sustaining Nigerian aviation industry

The President General, Global Peace Movement International, UK (GPMI), Dr. Mike Uyi has commended the Chairman/ CEO, Air Peace Allen Onyema, for sustaining and opening new frontiers despite the down turn in the aviation industry in Nigeria,  urging him to keep the momentum.

Uyi gave the commendation in London on Wednesday while reacting to the current situation of the Nigerian economy.

He maintained that the high cost of aviation fuel has made many airlines in Nigeria reduced the number of roots they operates thereby reducing the number of their workforce.

“Allen Onyema is truly a great philanthropist of our time. He has maintained his services in the aviation industry not minding even if he is loosing. He believes in the feature of a greater Nigeria”.

“Some airlines in Nigeria have even shot down operations since the rise in the aviation fuel and the implication of that is that many Nigerians have lost their daily bread”.

Uyi noted that with the bold step to reposition the nation’s aviation industry,  with the China flight, Air Peace, Nigeria can compete in the international, regional and domestic air travel market.

He also said that with the increase in capacity, it is expected that Air Peace would open new frontiers, new destinations both in Africa and beyond and in doing so, create more job opportunities for Nigerians.

“This is a significant step for an accomplished man whose visionary airline is already employing over 3000 Nigerians and turning their economic fortunes around,” Uyi said.
