Governor Ododo mourns death of Hon. Ameuru

Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo has mourned the death of Honourable Hamza Ameuru, a former member of the Kogi State House Assembly who represented Okene II State Constituency between 2003 and 2007.

In a statement signed by the Special Adviser on Media to the Governor, Ismaila Isah, Governor Ododo described the late lawmaker as a politician of good conscience, a community leader and a family man who was committed to the wellbeing of the people of his community.

The statement noted that the late lawmaker remained dedicated to the development of Ageva community even after his term in office and until his death.

Governor Ododo prayed Allah to grant the late lawmaker eternal rest in peace, and his family the fortitude to bear the loss.

The late Honourable Hamza Ameuru died in Lokoja on Monday and has since been buried according to Islamic rites.
