Governor Ododo appoints Hajia Yussuf as DG Kogi State Broadcasting Corporation

Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has approved the appointment of Hajia Yussuf Nana Hauwa as the Director-General of the Kogi State Broadcasting Corporation.

A Press Statement released from the office of the Commissioner for Information and Communications said the appointment takes immediate effect.

According to the statement, Hajia Yussuf’s appointment was due to her exceptional Qualities and dedication to public service.

“Hajia Yussuf is expected to bring a wealth of experience to her new role, having held various positions within the broadcasting industry.”

” Her commitment to promoting quality programming, engaging with the community, and upholding media professionalism perfectly align with the Corporation’s mission.”

The statement added that the Commissioner of Information and Communications, Mr Kingsley Fanwo, expresses full confidence in Hajia Yussuf’s ability to lead the Corporation to new heights.

“He believes that her leadership will significantly contribute to the growth and development of the state’s broadcasting sector.”

“Fanwo congratulates Hajia Yussuf on her appointment, saying he eagerly anticipates the positive impact she will undoubtedly make at the Corporation.”

“He also thanks the outgoing Director General, Mr Ojo Oyila Ozovehe for his immense contributions to the transformation of the corporation, wishing him the best in his future endeavors.”
