Gov Okpebholo makes minor cabinet reshuffle, redeploys Chief of Staff as commissioner

‎Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, has in a minor reshuffle of the State’s Executive Council redeployed his Chief of Staff, Hon.Gani Audu, to the Ministry of Oil and Gas Resources as Commissioner


‎Okpebholo said the appointment of his erstwhile Chief of Staff as Commissioner would be subjected to confirmation by the Edo State House of Assembly.


‎News reports that the Secretary to the State Government, Barrister Umar Musa Ikhilor disclosed this in a statement made available to newsmen on Friday.


‎The Governor, however, appointed Hon Yakubu Oshiorenua Musa, Commissioner for Lands and Housing as the new Chief of Staff.


‎The Governor also redeployed Barrister  Vincent Osas Uwadiae, the Commissioner for Oil and Gas Resources to the Ministry of Lands and Housing as Commissioner.


‎He said the minor reshuffle is part of his government’s ongoing efforts to strengthen governance, enhance service delivery, and promote greater efficiency in the administration of state affairs.


‎He expressed confidence that the strategic adjustments would further enhance coordination, policy implementation, and effective governance in Edo State.
