Gov Makinde makes more appointments in Oyo State

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has announced the appointments of more aides expected to work with him.

The governor made the pronouncement on Wednesday.

Makinde noted that he had approved the appointment of special assistants on federal constituencies.

He also announced that he has appointed vice chairman and members for the Oyo State Pilgrims Welfare Board (Muslim Wing).

The appointments were contained in a letter signed by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Segun Ogunwuyi.

Those who were appointed as Special Assistants on federal constituencies are; Ayo Fatokun – Akinyele/Lagelu, Alani Alwajud – Oorelope/Irepo/Olorunsogo, Julian Nwachukwu – Ibadan North, Labule Ishola Olasupo – Ib. NW/SW, Akinajo – Ib. NE/SE and Olumide Akinlade – Oluyole.

Others are; Hezekiah Sanjo Akintola – Ogo-oluwa/Surulere, Kamorudeen Kayode Obisesan – Egbeda/Ona-Ara, Hakeem Adedibu – Iseyin, Itesiwaju, Kajola and Iwajowa, Monsuru Oduola – Ibarapa North/Central, Matthew Kayode Akano – Ido/Ibarapa East, Waheed Oluwakemi – Saki East/West, Atisbo, Alawode Liasu – Oyo Federal Constituency and Toyin Olaniran – Ogbomoso North/South, Oriire.

The new members of Oyo State Pilgrims Welfare Board (Muslim Wing) are: Abdulrasheed Olokuta – Vice Chairman, Dauda Badmus – Member, Mojeed Lanase – Member, Gani Laaro – Member, Jimoh Sijuade Amodu – Member, Olayiwola Bizimilahi – Member, Oyegbori Fatimah – Member and Razak Ayoola Mustapha – Member.

Makinde in the letter, counseled the appointees to see their appointment as a call to service.

He added that the appointments are with immediate effect.
