Gov Lawal warns commissioners against sharp practices

Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State has charged the newly appointed commissioners to work hard for the development of the state.

He warned that any commissioner found wanting would be shown the way out of his cabinet.

“We are on rescue mission, therefore, this administration would not condone act of negligence and ready to sack anyone found wanting in the discharge of his duty,” he warned.

Lawal, therefore, reiterated the determination of the present administration to tackle acts of banditry facing the state.

He explained that the recent upsurge of banditry was condemnable and ought to be faced with all seriousness.

“All hands must be on deck in tackling the current insecurity in the state, and therefore, we shall all contribute in the fight against banditry in one way or the other,” he added.
