Gov. Kefas promises to end insecurity in Taraba

The new governor of Taraba State, Agbu Kefas has promised to ensure that the insecurity facing the state for decades is squarely tackled to bring peaceful coexistence and sustainable development.

In his inaugural speech in Jalingo on Monday, Kefas pledged to engage security experts, traditional institutions, professionals, youths and other stakeholders to tackle insecurity in the state.

He stated that his administration would give priority to youths and women empowerment and enable the disabled to participate in the running of the state government to greater heights.

He assured, “I will only appoint competent hands into my cabinet.”
