Gospel Movie Star Baba Gbenro of “Abattoir Series” is Dead

Moses Korede Are, popularly known as Baba Gbenro from the Mount Zion series Abattoir is dead.

The gospel movie star’s passing was announced by Oluwaseun Adejumobi, his colleague on his Instagram page.

Adejumobi wrote, “Heaven’s Gain Again. A General Has Gone to Rest.”

In another post, Zoe Adeola, a gospel singer posted about the passing of Baba Gbenro on her X account.

She wrote, “Rest in peace, Baba Gbenro. Your role in Abattoir will definitely leave a great memory of you in our minds. So painful.”

It was gathered that Baba Gbenro was battling diabetes before his death.

Baba Gbenro who grew up in Kano state was born on 11 June 1959.
