Gombe United sign five new players

Gombe United have boosted their squad with five new players ahead of the second round fixtures of the season.

Top on the list is midfielder Mathias Samuel, who arrived from Lobi Stars Football Club of Makurdi.

Dozie Umeh joined from another Nigeria Professional Football League club, Abia Warriors.

Winger Paul Obata and striker Igbudu Igbada joined from El Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri, while Wasiu Mamud, a winger moved to the club from Kwara United.

The Savannah Scorpions will be guests of Plateau United at the New Jos Stadium on Sunday.
