Former Barcelona striker, Gary Lineker, has pinpointed the major mistakes made by Chelsea manager Graham Potter after the Blues fell 3-0 behind against Brighton before half-time in the Premier League on Saturday.
Leandro Trossard opened the scoring for Brighton in just the fifth minute at the Falmer Stadium.
Own goals from Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Trevoh Chalobah sunk Chelsea further.
The match eventually ended 4-1 in favour of Brighton.
However, Lineker pointed out some tactical errors Potter made against the host.
Lineker wrote on Twitter, “Potter’s system of a back 3 and wingers at wingback, which he changed very quickly from in Chelsea’s previous league games, has failed miserably in the first half at Brighton.”
