Ganduje, Kwankwaso attend Atiku’s daughter’s wedding to Ex-minister’s son

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and his political rival, Musa Kwankwaso, were among the dignitaries at the wedding of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar’s daughter and former Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu’s son held at the National Mosque Abuja today.

Former Head of State, Abdulasami Abubakar was also present at the event alongside former governors Sule Lamido (Jigawa), Murtala Nyako (Adamawa), Ali Modu Sheriff (Borno), Ibrahim Shekarau (Kano) and Adamu Muazu (Bauchi).

The chairman of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Col Buba Marwa (rtd) and Senator Abdul Ningi were also at the event.

Acting National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ambassador Iliya Damagum also attended the wedding ceremony.

Recall that Atiku received the family of Kashim Imam, headed by former Kaduna State Governor Nasiru El-Rufai, at his Asokoro residence yesterday.

The visit was to formally seek the hand of his daughter, Hafsat Atiku Abubakar, in marriage.

The event was graced by prominent figures, including National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, and former Sokoto State Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, among others.
