Gaber: Egypt unlucky in defeat to Flying Eagles

Young Pharaohs of Egypt head coach, Mahmoud Gaber has claimed his team was unlucky in the defeat to Nigeria’s Flying Eagles on Wednesday night.

The hosts fell to a 1-0 defeat against the Flying Eagles at the Cairo International Stadium.

The Flying Eagles weathered early storm from the North Africans to win the contest.

Gaber’s side were denied thrice by goalkeeper Chijoke Anigboso in the second half.

“We missed many opportunities, and if we were focused, we would have decided the match in our favour,” Gaber was quoted by CAFonline.
