Fubara warns political appointees against unauthorized meetings

‎Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has threatened to sack any government appointee who convenes meetings without his authorization.

‎Fubara gave this warning during the swearing-in ceremony of the new Secretary to the State Government, Dr Dagogo Wokoma, and Chief of Staff, Barrister Sunny Ewule on Thursday.

‎The swearing in was held at the Executive Council Chamber of Government House.

‎Fubara stressed that these appointments are intended to advance the state’s development agenda, rather than create problems or serve as instruments of political patronage.
