A women group, Frontline Women Association in Ajaokuta Local Government Area, (LGA), has congratulated Hajia Habiba Oyiza Tijani, over her appointment by Governor Yahaya Bello, as the Accountant General, (AG), of the state.
The leader of the group, Hon. Sefiya Orahanoh Abubakar, while describing the appointment of Hajia Habiba Oyiza Tijani as well deserved, she noted that as a dedicated and torror breed professional, she will bring her wealth of experience to bear on her new appointment.
According to the group, Governor Yahaya Bello has scored another goal again, through the inclusion of women in his administration with the appointment of Hajia Habiba Oyiza Tijani, saying will give the women the needed voice in governance.
“The wemen are better of in governor Yahaya Bello’s administration far more than any other administration since the creation of the state in 1999. We now have a voice in the governance of the state. We now have women occupying higher positions of responsibility in the state. We have shown our appreciation through the ballot. We will continue to support you and the incoming administration.
The group also commended Governor Bello for laying a very solid foundation in terms of the provision of critical infrastructures across the state and his ability to unite the various ethnic groups in Kogi State.
The women expressed confidence in the ability of Hajia Habiba Oyiza Tijani, to deliver on her new job as the Accountant General of the state, saying that she will uphold the culture of transparency and accountability as enshrined in the new direction Government of Alhaji Yahaya Bello.
The group called on the Staff of the Accountant General’s office, particularly the women to give Hajia Habiba Oyiza Tijani all the support needed, for her to succeed in her new assignment.
