Former President Buhari Votes in Katsina Local Government Election

Former President Muhammadu Buhari has cast his vote in the ongoing Katsina State Local Government election.

Buhari, who arrived at the polling unit around 11:09 am, voted at Polling Unit 003, Sarkin Yarn Ward A, in his hometown of Daura.

The former president was accompanied by the state Commissioner for Special Duties, Adnan Na-Habu Daura.

Notably, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) boycotted the election.

The All Progressives Congress (APC), which is the ruling party in the state, is expected to dominate the exercise.
