Former NYSC DG’s Abductors Demand N250 Million Ransom

The abductors of a former Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), General Maharazu Tsiga (retired) have demanded that a ransom of N250 million be paid for his release.

A close family source said the gunmen who abducted the retired General had made contact with relatives.

According to the source who pleaded anonymity, the family was requested to make N250 million available for Tsiga’s release.

Recall that the former NYSC DG was abducted in his residence alongside nine others at midnight on Wednesday.

Some gunmen – about 100 of them – were said to invaded his residence and abducted him and other victims.

They were also said to have started to break the doors of his home when Tsiga came out to ask them what they were looking for.
