Flying Eagles arrive Egypt for 2023 U-20 AFCON campaign

Nigeria’s Flying Eagles have arrived in Cairo, Egypt for the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.

The players and their officials touched down at the Cairo International Airport on Thursday night after a 5hrs 30 minutes journey from Casablanca.

The team is based at the Jewel Sports City & Aqua Resorts.

Ladan Bosso’s side will observe their first training session later today.

The 2023 U-20 AFCON will commence on Sunday with hosts Egypt taking on Mozambique in the competition’s opening game.

The Flying Eagles will also slug it out with the Young Teranga Lions of Senegal on the same day.

The competition will run from February 19 to March 11.
