First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu Empowers Women in ICT with Laptops and Financial Support

In a significant boost for digital literacy and empowerment, beneficiaries of the Women ICT Training Empowerment Programme, in partnership with the Renewed Hope Initiative, have received brand new laptops and financial grants from Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

This initiative forms part of NITDA’s broader Digital4All (#DL4ALL) program, an ambitious effort to enhance digital literacy and skills acquisition across Nigeria. With a goal of reaching 70% digital literacy by 2027, the program aims to bridge digital gaps, ensuring that more Nigerians, particularly women, are equipped to thrive in a technology-driven world.

The First Lady’s support reflects a commitment to fostering an inclusive, digitally empowered society, demonstrating how technology can drive transformation and create equal opportunities across Nigeria.
