Chelsea legend, Didier Drogba, has expressed happiness at the club’s decision to finally sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Barcelona.
Chelsea officially announced the signing of Aubameyang on Thursday.
The former Arsenal captain left Barcelona just six months after leaving the Gunners in acrimonious fashion following his falling out with manager Mikel Arteta.
Aubameyang will be reunited with his former Borussia Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel at Chelsea.
The Gabonese striker signed a two-year deal with the West London club.
Reacting, Drogba on Twitter: “Finally!!!!! Remember the time we spoke about it years ago Happy for you brother.”
