FC Porto boss blocks Sanusi Premier League move

FC Porto manager, Sergio Conceicao has stopped Zaidu Sanusi’s potential transfer to the Premier League.

Sanusi has been linked with a move to Premier League clubs, Crystal Palace, Fulham and Everton.

Conceicao, according to a Portuguese publication, O’ Jogo has, however, told the club’s hierarchy the defender is in his plans for next season.

The 24-year-old has been a key figure since joining the Dragons from another Portuguese outfit, Santa Clara two years ago.

The left-back scored the goal which won the Porto the league title last season.

The Nigerian international has a €50m release clause in his contract.

Porto was reportedly willing to sell him for €20m.
