FC One Rocket suffer robbery attack at Ihiala, Anambra

Players and officials of Nigeria National League (NNL) side, FC One Rocket, were on Monday attacked by armed robbers at Ihiala, Anambra State.

The contingent were returning from Lagos, where they honoured a league game against Ikorodu United last weekend.

Some members of the team were robbed of their mobile phones.

According to a statement by the club, no life was lost during the incident.

The team arrived Uyo on Monday night and will continue their preparations for the next NNL game.

Describing the situation as unfortunate, General Manager, Ubong Essien, says the Indomitables are determined to shake off the setback and continue preparations for their upcoming league games.
