Fayose reveals Nigeria’s major problem

Ayodele Fayose, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has revealed that Nigeria’s major problem is that the majority of its people look to make money during election time.

Fayose spoke on Arise Television’s Morning Show on Thursday.

The former Ekiti State governor also said that even the press collects money from politicians to promote them during an election.

Fayose said: “Majority of people look at elections [as] time to make money. That is the problem in our country. Even the press, majority of them, collect money.”

He added:”I join you and everybody to condemn what is physical by the attacks on a number of people but let equally get it right that what you see in the followership is what you see in the leadership and what you see in the leadership is what you get in the followership. Nobody is innocent in this circumstance, even the press.”
