Fatima’s educational journey began at the Federal Government Girls College Owerri, Imo state, after her primary school in Maiduguri metropolis, she then came back home to study civil law at the University of Maiduguri, where she earned her LLB with honors, followed by her BL from the Nigerian Law School in Victoria Island Lagos. Her academic excellence continued at the University of Buckingham, United Kingdom, where she obtained her LLM in International and commercial law, majoring in Trade and Maritime Law.
In 1994, she obtained a certificate in Legal Drafting at the University of Lagos.

Fatima’s professional trajectory is a testament to her versatility and expertise. She has held esteemed positions in both the government and private sectors, including Legal officer at the Independent National Electoral Commission, Legal Adviser to the Chief Economic Adviser to President Umaru Musa Yar’adua.
Fatima, is the Principal Partner of Firdausi she has led the firm to become a bastion of commercial practice, real estate management, and conveyancing.

Fatima’s entrepreneurial spirit and leadership prowess have also led her to establish the Firdausi Luxury homes Ltd, a company involved in building luxury homes. She went on to establish Heeba Foundation, an NGO as a beacon of hope for the less privileged people in the society, she has empowered women, supported orphans and widows, and provided scholarships to indigent children thereby training several children across the country in schools. Amongst the orphans she has trained are Nurses, Accountants and many more.

Throughout her illustrious career, Fatima has demonstrated exceptional communication, negotiation, and teamwork skills, earning her a reputation as a consummate professional. Her linguistic proficiency in multiple languages has facilitated her extensive travels, both locally and internationally, broadening her perspective and network.

As a life member of the Federation of International Female Lawyers (FIDA) and the International Bar Association, Fatima has further solidified her expertise, presenting research papers and participating in conferences that showcase her mastery of legal topics.
