Factor delaying Amrabat’s arrival to Man Utd revealed

Football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, has revealed the only thing delaying Sofyan Amrabat’s arrival at Manchester United this summer.

According to Romano, Man United want to sell midfielder Donny van de Beek to Spanish La Liga side Real Sociedad before making an official bid to sign Amrabat from Fiorentina.

Amrabat is keen to leave Fiorentina and has worked with Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag during their time at Utrecht in the past.

“Man United want to complete more outgoings before making an official bid for Amrabat so they keep working on the Donny van de Beek deal with Real Sociedad. From what I am told, they are still discussing a deal with Man United for Van de Beek,” Romano told the Debrief podcast.

“After they clarify the situation of Van de Beek, they will enter into concrete talks for Sofyan Amrabat.”
