Enyimba assistant coach, Olanrewaju Yemi has said the team’s victory against Heartland was important.
The People’s Elephant defeated the Naze Millionaires 1-0 at the Dan Anyiam Stadium on Saturday.
Stephen Chukwudi scored the only goal in the game for the visitors.
Yemi stated that the team will continue to improve on their performance as the season progresses.
“A very important point on the road,” he wrote on his X handle.
“We will continue to work hard ahead of our next game against Sunshine Stars in Aba.”
Enyimba will host Sunshine Stars next at the Enyimba Stadium, Aba.
