Enugu governor Peter Mbah meets Tinubu for first time after joining APC

Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State has met with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the State House, Abuja, a few days after defecting from the Peoples Democratic Party to the ruling All Progressives Congress.

Mbah disclosed details of the meeting in a post via X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday, where he said discussions focused on strengthening collaboration between Enugu State and the Federal Government.

“Today, I had the honour of meeting with His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, at the State House, Abuja.

“We discussed ways to strengthen collaboration between Enugu State and the Federal Government to deliver greater prosperity for our people.

“Enugu remains fully committed to playing its part in building a stronger, united, and more prosperous Nigeria,” Mbah wrote.
