England now most in form team in World football – Gary Lineker

Former England international, Gary Lineker has claimed that the Three Lions are now the most in form team in World football.

Lineker said this as England scored three goals in the space of eleven minutes during their UEFA Nations League tie against Germany on Monday night.

Gareth Southgate’s men drew with Germany at Wembley Stadium, thanks to goals from Luke Shaw, Mason Mount and Harry Kane.

IIkay Gundogan and Kai Havertz did score for Germany.

But Lineker believes when England are forced into playing to their strengths, they look a good team.

In a tweet via his Twitter handle, Lineker said, “When @england are forced into playing to their strengths (attacking), they look a good side. When they play to cover their weaknesses (defending), they look a poor side.

“England with 3 goals in the space of 11 minutes. We’re now the most in-form side in World football.”
