Election 2023: Kogi orders closure of schools from Feb 22

Ahead of the 2023 general elections, the Kogi State Government has ordered the closure of all public and private schools from Wednesday, February 22, 2023.

The Director, Basic and Secondary Education, Kogi State Ministry of Education, Mr Matthew Salami disclosed this in a statement sent to newsmen on Friday.

Salami noted that schools are to resume on Monday, March 13, 2023.

According to the statement, management and teachers of schools are not affected by this directive.
