Elder statesman, Chief Edwin Clark, declares support for Kogi APC candidate, Usman Ododo

Ahead of November 11th kogi state governorship election, Elder statesman and leader of Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF), Edwin Clark has declared his fatherly blessing and full support for Ododo Ahmed Usman of All Progressive Congress (APC) in Kogi State.

In a letter personally signed the elder statesman, Chief (Dr) Edwin K. Clark, OFR, CON, gave his blessings to Ododo when he paid a courtesy call on him on Sunday 1st of October, 2023 in Abuja, saying, “you have my blessings and full support and that of my friends and brothers in kogi state.

“I have keenly followed the activities of most of the candidates contesting for the kogi state November 11 election and taking all other factors in to consideration and putting Ododo side by side with other leading party candidates, without equivocation, I am convinced beyond doubt that Ododo present an opportunity for kogi state to realize the dreams of the founding fathers to its brim.

The statement added that, as an elder stateman that has played active politics for over 55 years, we must eschew tribal politics and politics of gangsterism as currently displayed by some of the candidates in the state.

The 96 years elder statesman described the APC candidate as humble, intelligent and very calculative as essential ingredients for a good leader.

He therefore urges the electorates in Kogi state to vote massively for Ododo/Joel’s Ticket
