El-Rufai Arrives in Court as Trial Continues Over ICPC Money Laundering Case

‎Former Kaduna State Governor, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, has arrived at the Kaduna State High Court as proceedings continue in his case involving the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).


‎According to earlier reports, the court had adjourned the hearing of his bail application to April 14.


‎The former governor is facing a 10-count charge bordering on alleged financial misappropriation and money laundering.


‎El-Rufai was initially detained by the Department of State Services (DSS) before being transferred to the ICPC.


‎He was recently granted temporary release to attend the burial of his mother, who passed away in March.
