El-Kanemi, Dakkada, Wikki, Bayelsa United fight for NPFL survival

The quartet of El-Kanemi Warriors, Dakkada, Wikki Tourists and Bayelsa United are currently finding the going too tough in the Nigeria Premier Football League this season and need to up their performance to avoid relegation.

Group A basement side, El-Kanemi Warriors have won one game all season, amassing a paltry five points from 11 games.

The Maiduguri club woes was further compounded following a 2-1 home defeat to Remo Stars on Wednesday.

In Group B, Dakkada also look destined for a return to the Nigeria National League (NNL) after a few years in the (NPFL).

The Uyo club have picked just one point from their last two games.

Their fate could be sealed in the next few weeks with difficult games against Rivers United, Abia Warriors and Rangers ahead.

Wikki Tourists and Bayelsa United are also in the relegation fight and the next few weeks will be crucial for both teams.

Two teams will be relegated from Group A and B to the NNL.
