DSP Jibrin Barau, Oji Uzor Kalu and Sunday Karimi win Democracy Newsline Newspaper Award, 2024

The Nigerian Deputy Senate President, Senator Jibrin I Barau, Senator Oji Uzor Kalu and Senator Sunday Karimi have emerged winners of the different categories of award honors in this year’s opinion polls conducted by a team of experts who find them worthy of the recognitions.

In a press statement issued in Abuja by Samuel Olugbemi on behalf of the management and made available to newsmen the commencement of activities towards the celebration of the 14th anniversary of Democracy Newsline Newspaper which will take place on 9th October, 2024 at the National Merit House, Abuja by 10.am prompt was outlined.

The Democracy Newsline Newspaper Award (DNNA) is an annual event wherein individuals and organizations that have distinguished themselves in their chosen careers and sectors of operations are being recognized as such gives Award of Excellence to those that truly deserve it to encourage them in doing more for the nation and humanity.

He said Democracy Newsline Newspaper Award (DNNA) is an arm of Michabifem Ventures Limited that publishes Democracy Newsline Newspaper and online blog bridging the gap between the government and its citizens as guaranteed by the 1999 constitution of the federal Republic of Nigeria as amended being member of the fourth estate of the realm.

He further stated that DSP Jibrin Barau has been found worthy of the award as Nigeria’s Northern Senator of the Year, Senator Oji Uzor Kalu as the Senator of the year and Senator Sunday Karimi as the Most Security Conscious Senator in Nigeria.

He noted that the presentation will be held on the 9th October, 2024 at the National Merit House, Abuja by 10.am prompt.
