Draw against Kwara United good result for Tornadoes

Niger Tornadoes’ assistant coach, Majin Mohammed has said the players are aware of the importance of securing a good result in away games.

The Ikon Allah Boys played out a goalless draw against Kwara United at the Kwara Sports Complex on Sunday.

Mohammed commended the players for their determination in securing a point in Ilorin.

“The boys have realized that the team is in a danger zone and the only way to come out of the danger is to put up a good fight in the next away game and that is exactly what they have shown,” he told the club’s media.

“Well, it’s a strategy and whatever strategy you adopt, it’s either you win, lose or draw, so it worked for us and congratulations to the boys.”

Niger Tornadoes remain in 19th position on the table despite the draw.
