Don’t marry if you can’t submit to husband — Pastor Abel Damina tells feminists

‎The founder of Power City International, Pastor Abel Damina, has asked feminists never to get married if they cannot submit to husbands.

‎Damina made this call while speaking to his congregation during a church service.

‎He described feminism as a positive ideology when it focuses on securing equal rights and opportunities for women in politics, the economy, and society.

‎“Feminism is ladies fighting for equal rights in society, which is ideal. It’s a very wonderful ideology, and it should be like that.

‎“If a lady doesn’t want to submit to a husband, don’t marry. It’s not a sin for you to be alone and die single. Don’t marry, because if you marry, you will submit one way or the other,” he stated.

‎However, the cleric argued that some women have taken the concept beyond the pursuit of equality, adopting attitudes that reject male authority while still desiring marriage.

‎Damina further linked the issue of submission in marriage to Christian faith, saying that believers are first called to submit themselves to Christ.
