Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has been spotted serving as an usher at Shiloh 2025, the annual convocation of the Living Faith Church Worldwide held at Faith Tabernacle, Canaanland, Ota, Ogun State.
In a viral video, the governor in a suit and red tie was seen standing facing the audience while the programme was on.
It would be recalled that Shiloh 2025 commenced on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, with prominent figures like Pastor Paul Enenche, Pastor David Ibiyeomie, and other notable clerics attending the event.
Bishop David Oyedepo’s sons and pastors David Oyedepo Jr. and Isaac Oyedepo also attended the yearly church event with their families.
This is not the first time the governor has been spotted serving as an usher in a church. In November 2025, he was seen handling the offering, collecting contributions from members and placing them into the offering vault.
Sheriff became the governor of Delta in 2023. He previously served as speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, representing the Okpe Constituency of Delta State under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from 2017 to 2023.
In April 2025, he dumped PDP and joined the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general election, when he will be seeking re-election in office.
