Illicit items seized by the Nigerian Customs Service, NCS, Sokoto Area Command, last year were destroyed on Wednesday.
The items included sex enhancement drugs and expired milk, among others.
Musa Omale, the Area Comptroller, while speaking at the event, explained that the items were seized from different locations in the state.
He assured that investigation was still on after which the suspected smugglers would be charged to court.
He advised smugglers to desist from their illegitimate trade, saying that the Command would do everything possible to unearth illicit activities by the smugglers.
