CUSTECH MANAGEMENT PAYS CONGRATULATORY VISIT TO GOVERNOR ELECT ALH. ODODO AHMED USMAN

The Vice Chancellor of Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara, Engr. Prof. Salawu Sadiku on Wednesday, 22nd November, 2023 alongside other members of Management Staff of CUSTECH paid a congratulatory message on Alh. Ododo Ahmed Usman, the Governor-Elect.

According to Balogun Omeiza David Head, Public Relations Unit, CUSTECH, Osara, said other management member in the team are; the Registrar, Ms. Olufunke Hudson, Bursar, Mr. John Alaji, Librarian, Mr. Jeremiah Salifu and the Director, Works and Maintenance, Arc. Usman M. Ahmed

Engr. Prof. Salawu Sadiku gave all thanks to God Almighty for a successful Governorship election that brought in Alh. Ododo Ahmed Usman as the Governor-Elect. He celebrated the Governor-Elect as one who has found great favour and grace in the hands his maker. He heartily congratulated him on behalf of the entire CUSTECH, Osara Community for this great victory that God has wrought for him while he also appreciated his contributions to the development of the institution.

Responding to the congratulatory visit by the CUSTECH Community, Alh. Ododo Ahmed Usman thanked Engr. Prof. Salawu Sadiku, a man he referred to as, “A father and tutor” for coming with the Management Staff to celebrate with him. He described his victory at the gubernatorial poll as one that is for all and sundry in Kogi State.

The Governor Elect described the election as one of the most peaceful in Kogi State. He made the visiting CUSTECH Management Staff to know that the visit was not his but for His Excellency, Alh. (Dr.) Yahaya Bello (CON). He added that he will continue to appreciate the Governor as I am not the most handsome, intelligent or peaceful but God Almighty placed it in his heart to give me this enormous load. He opined that all hands must be on deck for this job placed into his hands to be properly done.

Speaking further, Alh. Ododo Ahmed Usman thanked the Management Staff of CUSTECH, Osara for working hard to make the varsity what it is today. This visit he said will further spur the government to do more work for CUSTECH, Osara and the entire state.

The Registrar of CUSTECH, Osara, Ms Olufunke Hudson gave the vote of thanks after which the visiting CUSTECH Management took their exit.
