The statement, signed by Comrade Olumuyiwa Onlede
National Coordinator/Convener Conference of Civil Society for Transparency and Accountability,

We acknowledge the Federal Government’s recent initiatives, notably the establishment of the Ministry of Livestock and the successful drive for Local Government Autonomy, which demonstrates a commitment to sustainable development, economic empowerment, and decentralized governance at the grassroots level. We commend the government and the Attorney General of the Federation, Chief Lateef Fagbemi, SAN, for these progressive steps, which have the potential to significantly impact citizens’ livelihoods and strengthen grassroots governance.

In this era of transformation and reform, it is crucial that we come together as a nation and engage in constructive dialogue to ensure a harmonious and prosperous Nigeria for all.
