Courtois names two clubs Real Madrid wouldn’t like to face in quarter-final

Real Madrid goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois wants the Spanish giants to avoid the likes of Manchester City and Chelsea in the Champions League quarter-final.

The draw for the Champions League quarter-finals will be held on Friday and the La Liga giants will know their fate.

They eliminated another Premier League side Liverpool from the competition on Wednesday night and could face either Chelsea or City in the next round.

City beat RB Leipzig 8-1 on aggregate to progress to the quarter-final while Chelsea knocked out Borussia Dortmund.

When asked who he would like Madrid to play in the Champions League quarter-final, Courtois told reporters, “I would like to change a bit.

“Last year we already faced City and Chelsea, let’s see if we play other teams this year. Haaland is very good, he is one of the stars of football.”
