Consensus: Jack-Rich lauds APC northern govs, urges for their support

Frontline presidential aspirant, Mr Tein Jack-Rich, has commended the All Progressives Congress (APC) northern Governor’s, for their decision to support the emergence of a southerner as the party’s candidate.

Jack-Rich also urged for their support in making him fly the party’s flag in the 2023 Presidential Election.

It will be recalled that the APC northern governors had after a meeting on Saturday, agreed to support President Muhammadu Buhari, who asked for their support in choosing his successor.

The governors said it was in the interest of the party and fair play, for the APC to allow the south the chance to produce Nigeria’s next president.

”This decision by the governors is a laudable one. They have demonstrated their commitment to true democratic principles and respect for all members of the party.

”Their decision has given our party a great chance at winning and consolidating on it’s achievements.

”I appreciate them, and pray that we will remain greater together.”

The Rivers-born philanthropist also called on other aspirants to step down for him and give him the chance to fly the party’s flag.

”With all due respect to my other compatriots who are aspiring to fly the party’s flag at the 2023 poll, please give me the chance to represent you.

”I assure you, you will never regret such a weighty decision, we will all be the winners at the end,” Jack-Rich said.
