Committee of friends, Ogaminana hail Gov. Ododo on his Supreme Court victory

The committee of Friends , Ogaminana wish to join millions of Kogites to congratulate His Excellency, Alhaji Usman Ododo on the Supreme Court victory which confirmed his election as the governor of Kogi State.

A statement by the association said the victory at apex court is a justification that the mandate to pilot the affairs of the state was freely given to him by the people and no legal gymnastics can truncate the collective wish of the people.

The statement which was signed by
Mallam Isah Suleiman, Chairman and Hon. Musa Ohiani, Secretary respectively described the legal battle as mere distractions and urged politicians to accept and respect the wishes of the people as expressed through voting during elections.

They also expressed gratitude to the governor for the support the government has been giving to Confluence University of Science and Technology, Osara where a member of the club, Professor Abdulrahaman Salawu is the vice Chancellor.

The association noted that the university has witnessed significant transformation since the assumption of Alhaji Usman Ododo as the governor of the state.

The association commended the proactive roles of the governor that led to the timely rescue of the kidnapped students of the institution and other measures being taken to forestall the reoccurrence of dastardly act.

They noted that the latest foundation laying of the establishment of Barefoot renewable energy college in the university is a masterstroke of all achievements recorded in the recent time.

The association pledged it’s unalloyed support to the administration at all times and prayed to grant the governor the wisdom, health and long life to discharge his duties to people of the state
