Commander Jerry Omodara (Rtd) and Hon. Yakubu Siyaka Adabenege Bag Democracy Newsline Newspaper Leadership Awards, 2024

A retired but not tired Naval officer, the State Security Adviser to Kogi State Government, Commander Jerry Omodara (Rtd) and the Local Government Auditor General Hon. Yakubu Siyaka Adabenege will on October 9th be bestowed Leadership Awards of Honour by the Democracy Newsline Newspaper.

In a press release signed by the Executive Editor, Elder Olalekan Aiyenigba, on behalf of the management and made available to newsmen in Abuja, he described them as great Nigerians who have served the country meritoriously and still contributing their quota to the overall development of Kogi State and the country at large.

He noted that their nominations was based on the feedback from the team of experts who conducted transparent and credible opinion polls which found them worthy to be recognized coupled with their giant contributions to the various sectors they find themselves to render selfless services to the state and humanity.

He further stated that Democracy Newsline Newspaper Award (DNNA) is an annual event wherein individuals and organizations that have distinguished themselves in their chosen careers and sectors of operations are being recognized as such and given Awards of Excellence to encourage them to do more.

He pointed out that the Special Award of Recognition is given by an arm of Michabifem Ventures Limited, Publishers of Democracy Newsline Newspaper and online blog bridging the gap between the government and its citizens as guaranteed by the international laws and 1999 constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as amended being a member of the Fourth Estate of the Realm.

He added that the presentation will be held on the 9th October, 2024 at the banquet hall of the National Merit House, Abuja by 10am prompt.
