LaLiga club, Villarreal has honoured their Nigerian import, Samuel Chukwueze for reaching his 200th appearance for the club.
The winger’s landmark appearance for the Yellow Submarine came in their 4-2 victory against Espanyol last month.
Chukwueze was the youngest player in the history of Villarreal to achieve the remarkable feat.
As a mark of honour, Villarreal’s President, Fernando Roig presented him with a commemorative shirt.
The 23-year-old has scored 37 goals and recorded 31 assists in 203 appearances across all competitions for Villarreal.
Chukwueze linked up with Villarreal from Diamond Football Academy in 2018.
He has been linked with a move away from Villarreal, with Real Madrid and Aston Villa reportedly among his suitors.
